01 How to cancel
Open the application, go to Plan and payments, and choose Cancel subscription. It takes effect immediately and you do not need to ask us or wait for us.
Cancelling stops the standing instruction. No further amount is debited from your card or UPI account. You can also revoke the mandate directly with your bank or card issuer, and doing so will not leave you owing us anything.
You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. On the day it ends, the subscription lapses.
You can restart at any time. Your applications, documents and history are still there.
02 What happens to your data when you cancel
Nothing is deleted when you cancel. This matters, so it is stated plainly: cancelling the subscription does not wipe your portfolio.
Your applications and documents remain in the account, readable and exportable. What you lose is the ability to add new applications beyond the free allowance.
If you want the data gone, close the account from Settings, or write to us and ask. Erasure then follows the retention periods in the privacy policy.
03 When we refund
We refund in full, without argument, in these cases:
- A duplicate charge
- You were debited twice for the same period. Refunded in full.
- A charge after cancellation
- The mandate debited you after you cancelled. Refunded in full.
- A charge you did not authorise
- Tell us and we will refund it and revoke the mandate while we investigate.
- An amount that does not match what we told you
- If the debit differs from the pre-debit notice we sent you, we refund the difference, or the whole amount if you would rather.
- We ended the service
- If we withdraw the service or terminate your account for any reason other than your breach, we refund the unused part of the period on a pro-rata basis.
- You were charged during a failure
- If the application was unavailable for a material part of a paid month, tell us and we will refund or credit that month.
04 When we do not refund
The subscription is paid in advance for a period. If you cancel part-way through a period, we do not refund the remainder of that period — you keep the service until it ends instead.
For a monthly subscription that is at most ₹22.42 per application. For an annual one it can be more, so cancel an annual subscription with that in mind, or choose monthly if you would rather keep the flexibility.
We do not refund because a deadline was missed. The terms of service are explicit that this is a reminder aid, that every date must be verified independently, and that we do not watch the register for you. A refund would not be the right remedy and we are not going to pretend otherwise.
Amounts you paid us for professional IP services under a separate engagement are not covered by this policy. Those are governed by the refund policy for that engagement.
05 How to ask for a refund
Write to contact@ragulikaip.com from the email address on the account, with the invoice number and what went wrong. Please do it within thirty days of the charge.
We reply within three working days. If the refund is due we raise it the same day we agree it. The money reaches you through the same instrument it left, which normally takes five to seven working days for a card and one to three for UPI — the delay after that point is your bank's, not ours, and we will give you the gateway reference so you can chase it.
A refunded invoice is cancelled and a credit note is issued. The invoice number is not reused; a gap in a numbered series is what an auditor asks about, so we leave the record showing what actually happened.
06 GST on refunds
A refund returns the tax as well as the fee. Where a credit note is issued within the period allowed under section 34 of the CGST Act, the tax is adjusted; where it is not, we still refund you the full amount you paid, including the tax component.
07 If we cannot agree
